Bishop Thomas L. Johnson Sr.

Bishop Thomas Lee Johnson, Sr. is a man after Gods own heart. He is dedicated to the work of the lord knowing that his life is not his own, therefore, he has committed his ways to the Lord. Bishop Johnson is a native of Detroit, Michigan where he was educated in the Detroit Public School system. He graduated from Chadsey High School and later furthered his education at Marygrove College, he holds an honorary (DD) Doctor of Divinity degree from the Detroit Urban Bible College.

Bishop Johnson meet Jesus Christ on his personal road of Damascus in 1970 and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit shortly after. After faithfully serving under the leadership of his pastor, he was ordained as an elder in 1974. In 1975, he yielded to the call of God and established Immanuel House of Prayer. In 1994, he was found worthy to be elevated and ordained as a Bishop. Again, following the leading of the Lord in 1994, bishop Johnson established Immanuel House of Prayer-South (IHOPS) located in Darien, GA. Bishop Johnson has a heart for imparting and training upcoming pastors which led him to establish Immanuel Ecumenical Council of Churches Inc (IECC). IECC promotes inter-denominational fellowship and provides ministerial and leadership training. Bishop Johnson desire is to minister to the totality of man therefore he founded FACE (Family and Community Enrichment) - a non-profit organization that supports community enrichment, promotes academic growth and development within the urban community. In addition, Bishop has served as a spiritual advisor to various organizations. 

It is apparent that this man of God carries an apostolic mantel as he is a highly sought-after evangelist, teacher, and anointed preacher. His ultimate desire is for all to experience the love of God, come to repentance, live an abundant life and possess the promises of God. He is a beloved and courageous pastor determined to led Gods people to a life of victory through Christ Jesus. The anointing that flows on Bishops Johnson’s life is undeniable and has impacted many. Bishop Johnson is supported in ministry by the wife of his youth, Ellazean; they have been married for over a half of half of century. Together they have seven beautiful children and a host of grandchild and great grandchildren.

Lady Ellazean Johnson

Lady Ellazean Johnson is native of Detroit, Michigan. She is the epitome of a virtuous woman.  As a wife, mother, First Lady and woman of God, she enjoys encouraging and sowing seeds into the lives of others. Lady Ella exemplifies the qualities of a Proverbs 31 woman. Her favorite scripture is Psalms 27 “The Lord is my light and my salvation…”. Driven by this scripture and the words of God as her guide, Lady Ella inspires others to stand on the strength of God during the storms of life. She is a living testimony of Gods faithfulness and His power to heal, save and deliver. A mother to many, a wise counselor and a pillar of strength and hope; she enjoys her role in the kingdom of God. She gives unselfishly of herself and supports the ministry whole heartedly. A few of her special gifts and skills include culinary arts and decorating; her hands are anointed to help. In addition, one of her ministry passions is uplifting and encouraging upcoming pastor wives. She has been married to Bishop Thomas L. Johnson for over 5 decades, together they share 7 beautiful children and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
