MINISTRIES

The Care Ministry provides Compassion and Real Empathy toward those who may sick, shut-in, grieving or experiencing life traumatic events. The Care ministry also serves as a liaison for the church for members who may be experiencing hardships and need assistance by making phone calls, hospital visits and home visits when appropriate.

The Christian Education provides in-depth study of God’s Word to promote Christian growth. The following teaching ministries are part of the Christian Education Academy: Bible Study, Sunday School, and Youth Church.

The purpose of the Ministerial Alliance exists to help support the Senior Pastor and the ministerial needs of the church. Members of the ministry is equipped and trained to render services to the church through prayer, scripture reading, administering communion, baptism, anointing, teaching, and preaching. The Ministerial Alliance members are licensed and ordained ministers under Immanuel House of Prayer church.

The Outreach ministry mission is to witness and win souls for the Kingdom of God while meeting the needs of those within the community and evangelizing the world.

The Youth Ministry goal is to promote Godly living while providing a creative and fun learning experience in God’s word. The mission of the youth ministry is to encourage a relationship with Christ at a young age that will promote spiritual growth.

Servant Care exist to assist in the care of the pastor during service by providing water, juice, towels while maintaining a spiritual mind and upholding the pastor in prayer. This ministry also aids in the annual celebration services honoring the pastor.

The Kingdom Keepers is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the church through custodial duties and church ground maintenance.

The Music Ministry provides a sound that is pleasing to God and that will enhance the worship experience. The goal of the music ministry is to provide praise, worship, and music that brings others to Christ and edifies the body of Christ.

The Hospitality ministry is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all those attending services and /or events at the church. The following ministries operate under the Hospitality Ministry: Ushers, Greeters and Guest Services.

Members of the Communion Ministry prepare the ceremonial meal commemorating the "Last Supper" that Jesus took with his disciples. members are responsible for the preparation of communion come together to make serving trays of bread (representing the body of Christ) and wine (in representation of the blood that Christ shed). Then the supper is prayed over before setting up on the communion table in preparation to serve. The members are also responsible for the ordering, caring, and cleaning of supplies, trays, table coverings, etc. used during this service
